This weekend a team of archers from the Li’l Abner Archery Club participated in the 2022 USA Archery National Indoor Championships at the Archery Center in Newberry, Florida. This is one of ten locations where this tournament will be shot across the United States.
The Tournament for Junior Athletes (JOAD) began on Friday afternoon, February 18, completing the second round on Saturday 19, at 2 pm, this event consists of a round of 60 arrows at 18m. in 40cm or 60cm targets depending on age or shooting style. Participants are 9-20 years old.
The National Indoor is an event in which athletes of any age participate, grouped by categories according to age, gender, and shooting style. This tournament was held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 in the morning. It consists of 2 rounds of 60 arrows (120 in total) at 18m on 40cm targets.
