Li ’l Abner Foundation leaving Sweetwater for their 2nd Annual Disney on Wheels event

The Li’l Abner Foundation has chosen a new group of 17 medically fragile children, for their first-time experience in an all-expense paid trip to Disney World with their parents and caretakers.

We will all be present at the sendoff celebration that will take place at Keiser University. located on 2101 NW 117th Avenue, Sweetwater, FL 33172.

To make this event possible, we have over 65 volunteers and staff to help make the children’s experience an unforgettable one! We have logistically organized this event to suit all of their needs.

Thanks to the generous support of our community sponsors, no expense has been spared.

We will departing Friday November 2nd and arrive at Disney’s Pop Century Resort where they will settle in and enjoy a delicious dinner at the Everything Pop Food Court.

Everyone will be up early on Saturday morning to have breakfast at the resort and head over to Disney’s Magic Kingdom. There they will watch shows, see the Mickey Parade, ride rides throughout the park, and finish off the evening with a Disney dinner.

To top off this fun filled weekend, on Sunday morning they will eat at the Contemporary Hotel’s Character Breakfast, where they will get to take pictures and interact with the most popular Disney characters.
