What is the seminar about?

This event is an initiative of the Taekwondo program of the Li’l Abner Foundation in partnership with Machida Miami. The objective is to strengthen the ties of friendship between both schools and at the same time share with the participants the techniques and strategies of one of the most functional Karate systems today.

What is Machida Karate?

Machida Karate is a dynamic and effective method of training that is practical for self-defense. Easy to learn for all ages, it is applicable in realistic situations and improves your fitness level by developing well-rounded combative and fighting skills.

Sensei Cristobal Gidi.

Cristobal Gidi is second generation martial artist having begun his training under his father Alfredo Gidi at the young age of 4yo. He has devoted his life to refining his Karate and helping others reach their martial arts goals.

Cris is the Owner / Head Instructor at Machida Karate Miami and works closely with Chinzo and Lyoto Machida to ensure the integrity of the art is preserved in all Machida Karate Miami programs.

Cris holds the highest instructor certification level Machida Karate Association has issued to date and Machida Karate Miami is proud to be one of the first affiliate dojo’s promoting Machida Karate around the world.
