What we are?
Li’l Abner Foundation Archery is an official USA Archery club serving Miami-Dade County since 2015. Our Indoor Archery Range is located in Sweetwater, near major highways like FL Turnpike and 836.
We offer the USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development program for archers starting at 10 years old. Additionally, we now have an Adult program available. Group, team building corporate events, and private classes are available by request.

- Join our “Try Archery” classes at Palmetto Bay Center for a perfect introduction to the sport. Master the basics before joining our formal club. After starting at Palmetto Bay, continue your archery journey at the Sweetwater Center. Our schedule at Palmetto Bay is Tuesday at 5 pm and Friday at 6 pm.5 pm and Friday 6 pm.
- Archery Club in Sweetwater will continue to offer Try Archery, Explore Archery, and JOAD Archery. Contact us for more information at lilabnerfoundation@gmail.com
Class Format
- Beginners Introductory Class: Thursdays 7-8 pm. Prospective Students should made a reservation for this Lesson.
- Beginners Shooting Group Class: Tuesday & Thursday 5-6 pm. JOAD program is introduced.
- Intermediate and Competitive training: Tuesday & Thursday 6-7 pm, With option to train on weekends on a second location to shoot outdoors .
- USA Archery’s Athlete Development Model is being implemented.
- We provide basic equipment at no additional cost for beginners. Don’t worry if you don’t have equipment to get started.

- 6 pm: Archery Intermediate and Competitive
- 7pm : (Only Thursday) Try Archery Sessions. To take this class it is necessary to reserve your space, send us an email to reserve your place.
Try Archery sessions are introductory classes designed for new students or individuals interested in exploring the fascinating sport of archery. These sessions include basic equipment and the necessary instruction to develop skill and safety in any archery range. They provide the foundation for getting started in the sport of archery.
Registration:
Registration is available at our office or by requesting that we email you an electronic waiver form. All our members should have at least one recreational membership with USA Archery.
Dress-code:
All students are required to wear sports attire and sneakers during classes. T-shirts or long sleeves are recommended, while hoodies or bulky long sleeves are not permitted.

EVENT’S RESULTS
USA Archery Outdoor State Championships
Sebastian Jane and Chloe Cuba represented our organization with excellence at the USA Archery State Outdoor Championships in Newberry, FL this weekend. Sebastian’s impressive performance secured him 2nd place in the Under 17 Compound men division. Chloe’s outstanding victory in the Under 13 Barebow Female Division is a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. Congratulations on their well-deserved results.

Li’l Abner Foundation & Tropical Troopers Outdoor Shoot
This April 20, we celebrated our first outdoor club tournament sanctioned by USA Archery with great success. The event consisted of a 720 round, the location was Tropical Troopers 4H JOAD Club in Miramar, FL.

NFAA State Indoor Championships
Li’l Abner Archery Team participated at the NFAA Indoor State Championships organized by the Florida Archery Association. This year the event was held in 3 different locations. Orlando, Tampa & Fort Lauderdale. Our archers shot at the Fort Lauderdale Site. Congratulations to all of them for an amazing performance & Outcome. See Results at the FAA Webpage.
