Three archers from our club lived for the first time the experience of shooting in one of the most famous archery events in the world. The 2022 Vegas Shoot.
This tournament, which began in 1962, annually attracts shooters from all over the United States, as well as from various countries, making it the largest indoor event in the world. This year 2022 after having closed in 2021 due to the pandemic, more than 3,000 competitors were registered.
Representing the Archery club of the Li’l Abner Foundation, the following athletes participated:
- Maya Delgado – Recurve Flights – 12 yrs old Female Recurve Bow
- Sofia Rodriguez – Recurve Flights – 17 yrs old Female Recurve Bow
- Victoria Rodriguez – Barebow Recurve Flights – 16 yrs old Female Barebow Recurve.
Maya and Sofia took the 23rd and 25th positions respectively in the Recurve Flights #7 division. While Victoria ranked 28th in Barebow Recurve Flight #5.
We congratulate these girls and their families for this results as well as the experience obtained, since the Flights group both adult and junior shooters in a single consolidated category where even professional shooters participate.
