This week, the Li’l Abner Foundation Center in Sweetwater transformed into a powerhouse of strength, resilience, and warrior spirit as it hosted the Annual Commando Krav Maga (CKM) Bootcamp from March 24th to 29th.
The boot camp offered intensive Reality-Based Self-Defense training and drew participants from around the world, all ready to push their limits under the guidance of elite instructors. Leading the high-level training was Moni Aizik, the Founder and Chief Instructor of the CKM system, whose expertise and intensity set the tone for the week.
Additional CKM levels, including the SmartSafe Program, were spearheaded by two outstanding Level 8 instructors and members of the CKM Elite Team—Guillaume Vetier from France and Becky Richardson from the UK. Their dedication to the craft and commitment to each participant made for an unforgettable learning experience.
Each day kicked off at 6:00 AM and ran for 10 to 12 hours of nonstop training, immersing attendees in a curriculum designed not just to teach techniques, but to build a deep understanding of self-awareness, tactical decision-making, and the psychology of confrontation. CKM’s unique methodology emphasizes real-world application, teaching variations, principles, and most importantly, mindset.
Participants were challenged physically and mentally, culminating in intense testing sessions designed to measure not just technical skill, but true warrior spirit. It was a week of breakthroughs, growth, and high-level instruction that empowered every individual who stepped onto the mat.
Congratulations to all the newly promoted CKM practitioners! Your hard work and perseverance were truly inspiring.
We hope to see you all again next year for another unforgettable experience. Until then—stay sharp, stay safe, and always be ready.
