Youth archery in South Florida is getting a reboot with the help of two local clubs, Li’l Abner Foundation Archery and Tropical Troopers 4-H
JOAD Club.
They joined forces to hold their first Club Shoot on Saturday, September 23rd at the Tropical Troopers Range in Miramar.
The format was the USA Archery Virtual 36 outdoor round, which consists of 36 arrows from one distance. Archers from different ages in
different styles of archery participated. Medals were awarded to the top three places in each category. The morning was beautiful and the archers performed amazingly. We congratulate all
those who participated.
We want to thank the City of Miramar for allowing this event to happen at the Country Club Ranches Community Park. We are looking forward to continuing this partnership, growing our
program, and to hold another such event soon.
