The speakers begin to call the divisions by age and by belt colors, to the competitor’s waiting area. The tournament has begun.
When the competition begins, all the children begin preparing to enter the 3 competition areas.
The sound of the blows from the movement of the uniforms and kicks of the forms, as well as the martial yells of the athletes, fill the gymnasium of the school.
This is a characteristic scene of a Taekwondo tournament. Winter Games is an event where athletes have the option to participate in Forms, Breaks or Taekwondo sparring.
Li’l Abner Foundation‘s team was composed of 9 athletes and Coaches Alvaro Ubeda and Alejandro Hassan; as in previous years, the Lil Abner boys and girls TKD team obtained excellent results. If you want to know more about our program check our Taekwondo information page.
