Last weekend, our Archery team won the first medals of 2024, in the 18-meter State Tournament organized by the Florida Archery Association. The event was held in 3 locations across the state. East River in Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale.
The event consisted of 4 rounds of 30 arrows at 18m. Our archery team attended the event in Fort Lauderdale. The general results for our archers were as follows:
- Sebastian Jane – Male -Compound fixed pins- Young Adult. 1st Place
- Joseph Lovin – Male – Compound Pins Fingers – Young Adult. 1st Place.
- Justin Lovin -Male – Barebow Recurve – Youth. 1st Place
- Cecilia Seiglie – Female – Barebow Recurve – Senior. 2nd Place
- Jeremiah Lovin -Male – Barebow Recurve – Youth. 2nd Place
- Alvaro Ubeda – Male – Recurve -Master. 3rd Place.
- Alan Antolinez- Male – Recurve- Master. 5th Place.
The next state event in which we will be participating will be the NFAA Indoor State Championship organized by the Florida Archery Association. Which, like this one, will be in two locations in central and southern Florida.

Our Archer Cecilia Seiglie will participate next weekend in the 55th USA Archery indoor nationals and then in the international indoor event, Lancaster Archery Classic. We wish you the best of luck in both events.
