Finally, the wait is over. On Monday, September 30, the Li’l Abner Foundation will open its second center at 16810 South Dixie Hwy Palmetto Bay, FL.
The center will open its doors at 4:00 pm to receive students in Tutoring, Dance, and Taekwondo classes. All of these classes and programs are free to children from nearby communities who qualify as low-income families.
The Li’l Abner Foundation has served its programs in the community of Sweetwater, FL where the first center is located. Children in our programs have the opportunity to improve their academic performance, participate in after-school activities, compete in sports such as Archery and Taekwondo, and participate in events and dance recitals.
